Ctrl+F Find To find words or letters in current work
Ctrl+G Go to To locate and go to certain word or letter in current work
Ctrl+H Replace To replace certain word with another in current work
Ctrl+I Italic To make the highlighted word turn italic
Ctrl+K Insert Hyperlink To insert hyperlink into a text/image
Ctrl+N Insert Hyperlink To open a new workbook in Excel
Ctrl+O Open To re-open an existing earlier closed work
Ctrl+P Print To print work being done
Ctrl+R Fill Right To fill item to right cells subsequently
Ctrl+S Save To save the work being done
Ctrl+U Underline To underline selected item
Ctrl+V Paste To paste ealier copied or selected item
Ctrl W Close To close open work
Ctrl+X Cut To cut selected itme
Ctrl+Y Repeat To move forward again after moving back on an action

1. Some keys or combination of keys may perform different function from what is above, that depends on the package you are using.

2. Start practicing the short cut one after the other so as not to
forget. Cramming them without use may not help.
